Alan and CC Clarke

For the past 36 years Helen and Lloyd Clarke of Hamilton New Zealand have been very good friends. We have shared a lot of memories and laughs over the years, and this week were allowed to share one of their sons, Alan and his wife Caroline. They are on their way to a wedding in Seattle and are sharing Saturday and Sunday with us.
Saturday afternoon we drove down to California to show them Lava Beds National Monument and Captain Jack's stronghold, where the last of the American "Indian Wars" was fought.

As expected they are an absolutely delightful couple and we have really enjoyed their visit.

Crater Lake

Sunday was bright and sunny so we all took a tour of Crater Lake which did a great job of showing off its lovely blues.

Wii

Sunday night we wrapped things up with a rousing session of wii. The Clarke gene was present so the competition was intense.
